Education: 

I received my B.A. in Psychology from Kenyon College and my M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Loyola College in Maryland.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I (CADC-I).

Theoretical Orientation: 

I view the primary goal of therapy as meeting the needs of my clients, and tailor therapy sessions to address a client’s unique strengths, goals and background. My therapeutic style is primarily based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and informed by solution-focused and humanistic therapies. I also utilize a trauma lens and multicultural lens as needed.

I enjoy working with a broad range of presenting concerns including depression, anxiety, experiences of trauma, issues related to the autism spectrum, obsessive-compulsive disorder, identity development and family systems issues.

In my free time I enjoy hiking and backpacking, doing yoga, gardening, reading, playing the piano, going to see live music and traveling.
