With the current unprecedented times many OSU employees are coping with new challenges and stressful circumstances.  There are resources available to help.  Benefit eligible OSU employees have access to mental health support resources through their OSU medical insurance providers.  OSU’s Employee Assistance Program, Beyond Benefits, also has supportive resources for employees and their household members that are not tied to benefits eligibility.

Lyra Health is available to OSU employees and offers a range of services, including access to a network of experienced and culturally responsive mental health professionals who are available for in-person and virtual appointments. Their platform also provides resources for self-guided support and emotional well-being tools to help you and your family members manage stress and improve your overall mental health.

  • Telephonic health coaching/depression care is available. Moda Members can receive one-on-one health consultation by phone or email and discuss their concerns and walk through their options.  Please call 1- 800-799-9391 or email behavioralhealth@modahealth.com.
  • Search the online library of mental and physical health courses, classes, articles, videos, and tip sheets at the Moda member dashboard: https://www.modahealth.com/memberdashboard/.

 

  • Mental health visits are by video, at no cost (no copay or coinsurance) to Kaiser members.  Kaiser members can call 503-813-2000 and ask to have a mental health appointment. 
  • Kaiser has free Self-Care apps for their members called Calm and Mystrength.
  • Using virtual visits, clinicians can evaluate and treat general mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety. When appropriate, they can prescribe medications. Treatment is provided by psychiatrists and therapists who are part of the Optum behavioral health network.
  • Members can call the behavioral health team at 1-800-711-4577 to find providers.
  • Providence has self-help tools and interactive resources called Live and Work well for employees.
  • Apps that they recommend include Headspace, Shine, Calm and Nod.
  • PacificSource offers behavior health appointments through Teladoc. Cost share is waived for all Teladoc appointments through 12/31/20.
  • If an employee needs help finding a mental health provider, they can call the Customer service team at 1-888-977-9299. 
  • PacificSource has a video library section of short mental health videos located at: https://pacificsource.com/videos.
  • Members have access to a Teledoc app to ask questions and get answers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for mental health support.
  • Members have access to Cafewell their Health Engagement portal which has physical and mental health resources here:  https://pacificsource.com/members/individuals/healthy-resources/cafewell. Cafewell also is a place members can find:
    • Helpful tips and articles on a variety of health and wellness topics
    • Communities of health experts
    • Activities, wellness challenges, and expert health coaching 
    • Personalized health resources and action plans
