If you need urgent mental health support for yourself or someone you care about, help is always within reach - on campus or off. Below are places you may reach out to for assistance. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.

  • CAPS: During the academic year, our on-call clinic for urgent needs is available Mon-Fri 10 am-4pm (check here for hours during breaks & summer). You can drop in anytime between these hours, though you may need to wait until a counselor is available. If you are unable to stop by in person, give us a call at 541-737-2131. Immediate help is also available whenever we are closed. When calling after hours, select option 1 from the menu to reach a crisis counselor.
  • Benton County Crisis Center drop-in crisis support at 240 NW 2nd St, Corvallis. Visit website for hours.
  • Crisis Text Line: Text 741-741
  • Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Call 988
