The CAPS Advisory Board services in an advisory capacity to the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services for the benefit of the Associated Students of Oregon State University (ASOSU) in regard to:

  • CAPS services and support, including annual budget preparation and participation in search committees.
  • CAPS strategic initiatives.
  • Campus issues related to mental health.


To be eligible to apply for the CAPS Advisory Board, the applicant must:

  • Be enrolled at OSU and pay student fees.
  • Be available for one hour every other week for board meetings. Meeting times are based on board availability.
  • If selected, be able to commit to at least a one-year term.
