All CAPS services will be provided remotely.
Our on-call clinic for consultations and immediate needs will continue to operate regular hours.
To request a consultation or to speak with an on-call counselor for another reason, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. A counselor will call you for a consultation as soon as possible, during on-call hours. In your email, please include your first and last name, student ID number, phone number, hours during which you're available for a call, and a very brief description of why you are contacting us. Please note that calls from CAPS will not show a caller ID. Consultation services are also available for OSU faculty/staff who are concerned about an OSU student.
All other CAPS inquires can be made by emailing email@example.com. Emails will be responded to during business hours (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm).
Please keep in mind that email is not a secure form of communication.
All first appointments and return appointments (all appointments other than on-call/consultations) will be provided through secure Zoom videoconferencing. Specific instructions for how to do this will be sent to all CAPS clients.
CAPS Single Session Clinic appointments will be offered again starting March 30th through Zoom videoconferencing.
The Mind Spa will be closed until further notice, due to concerns about contagion with regards to Mind Spa equipment. Mindfulness meditation sessions for students, faculty, and staff will be available via Zoom. Click here for more information.
If you are in crisis during business hours, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. After hours, please call 541-737-2131 to reach a phone counselor. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911.
