Accessibility & Inclusivity
We understand the importance of creating a space where every individual feels welcomed, valued, and supported. We have taken steps to offer services that are accessible to all clients:
-
ASL interpreters for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
-
Real-time language translation services, allowing students to talk to a counselor in their own spoken language.
-
Teletherapy via Zoom.
We also recognize the impact that tailored support can have on students who have had specific lived experiences. By having counselors who understand the nuances of different cultures and who have specific expertise, we aim to create a safe space where clients can express themselves authentically.
Our team of counselors includes specialists who are committed to supporting specific student populations, such as LGBTQIA+ students, BIPOC students, and veteran/military-connected students. By offering tailored individual and group support, our goal is to ensure that each student receives the care and understanding they need.
