Resources for Ecampus Students

Students in Oregon

If you need to talk to a mental health counselor immediately, call 988 or 541-737-2131 and select option 1 if after hours. 

If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency department.

CAPS provides services to support Ecampus students’ mental well-being, including:

  • Anytime Anywhere: Free, confidential, and immediate mental health support 24/7 through Telus Health. This service is available in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, and French.
  • Resilience Toolbox: Self-help tools you can use anytime to boost well-being and resilience.
  • Thriving Campus: Browse through a directory of off-campus mental health professionals statewide who offer in-person and remote therapy. The platform allows you to filter by numerous needs and preferences, and connect directly with providers.

For short-term counseling through CAPS, schedule a phone consultation online and a triage counselor will answer your questions and help you get started. If you choose to continue counseling after your consultation, the OSU health service fee will apply to your account. View the fee schedule.

Students Outside Oregon

If you need immediate support, call the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988 or CAPS at 541-737-2131 (after hours, select option 1).

In an emergency, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency department.

Due to teletherapy regulations, CAPS cannot provide ongoing counseling to students outside Oregon. However, you can:

International Students

If you need immediate support, call CAPS at 541-737-2131 (after hours, select option 1). While we can provide care in a crisis, CAPS cannot provide ongoing counseling to anyone outside the U.S.

In an emergency, contact local emergency services or the International Association for Suicide Prevention.

International students can access Anytime Anywhere for immediate support, from anywhere in the world. Support is available in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, and French, 

Military Students

If you need immediate support, you may call the following places for support:

  • Veterans Crisis Text Line: 838255
