Anytime Anywhere

Through our partnership with TELUS Health, you have free 24/7 access to mental health support by phone or chat, wherever you are. Immediate help is available in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, and French. Corvallis campus students can also schedule short-term teletherapy in 150+ languages, with the option to request a counselor who shares your identity. The app includes self-guided tools on stress, sleep, academics, relationships, and more—designed for college students.

Who can use it:

  • Immediate support is available to OSU students at every campus, regardless of summer enrollment.
  • Teletherapy is available to Corvallis campus students.

Crisis Care

Counselors are available during summer to support you in urgent situations, whether you're in crisis or concerned about someone else.

During on-call hours, drop by the 5th floor of Snell Hall or call 541-737-2131. When we are closed, help is still available. Call 541-737-2131 and select option 1 to reach a crisis counselor.

Summer on-call hours: Monday–Thursday 10:00am-3:00pm & Friday 10:00am-12:30pm

Who can use this service:

  • Corvallis and Ecampus students who are in Oregon, regardless of summer enrollment.
  • If you're outside Oregon, call or text 988 for immediate crisis support.

Individual Counseling

Our counselors offer focused, short-term individual therapy to help you manage mental health concerns or other challenges, and help you reach your goals.

If you're interested, schedule a free phone consultation with a CAPS triage specialist who will help you get started.

Who can access short-term counseling:

Students located in Oregon who meet any of the following conditions are eligible:

  • Enrolled for summer term at the Corvallis campus.

  • Were enrolled in spring 2025, plan to return in fall 2025, and opt into the summer OSU Health Service Fee.*

  • Enrolled in summer Ecampus classes and opt into the OSU Health Service Fee.*

*Phone consultations are always free. You won’t be charged for counseling without your signed permission.

Mind Spa

The Mind Spa is a private relaxation room designed to help you unwind and rejuvenate. Here, you'll find a variety of amenities to support your well-being. Relax in the full-body massage chair, take a power nap under the weighted blanket, get centered in the meditation corner, sip some tea while enjoying the leafy green plants and soothing light, and more. Whether you need a quick break or a full hour to de-stress, the Mind Spa is here for you.

Our Resilience Toolbox offers a collection of self-guided tools to help you enhance your mental well-being. You'll find resources like meditation and relaxation techniques, tips for coping with grief, identity-specific information, a virtual mental health training for OSU students, a hub to find information on a wide range of topics, and more.

Thriving Campus

We partner with Thriving Campus to make it easier for students to find long-term care. With Thriving Campus, you can browse a directory of mental health care providers near OSU or any other U.S. location, read provider profiles and contact them directly, and filter by criteria such as specialization, accepted insurance, counselor identity, and many more, ensuring you find match that feels right for you.

Who can use Thriving Campus:

  • Any OSU student regardless of summer enrollment.
  • Incoming students who will be new to OSU fall term.
